The Spirit is Willing

Apologies to those who followed a broken link to my last post. I was fiddling around with a new website and apparently sent the post into the ether. It was a whiny post anyway!

Mostly I was complaining about not feeling well lately. There are lots of exciting ideas swimming around in my head, but my body does not have the energy to pursue them. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. The doctor suspects it's a digestive issue, that my body isn't absorbing nutrients properly, causing me to feel weak. (I wonder if this is why I eat constantly.) I'm off to the gastroenterologist later this week for a specialist's opinion.

Meanwhile, back in the kitchen... after extensive prep work, I finally reached the Paint It Black stage! Progress on the kitchen facelift has been slow because I haven't felt well, but I hope it won't be too long before I can post the photos. These text-only posts are getting tiresome. :P

  1. Hope the specialist figures out why you're so tired, so you can get back to doing all the things you want to do! I can hardly wait until the Paint it Black stage!! :o)

    1. Yes, it would be great to know the reason, and even better if there's a solution for it. So much of a good paint job is the prep work... it seems to take forever to get to the point where you can actually paint. :)

  2. I think 2013 is the year for doctors. Everyone I know has reached the "WTF, this existence I am living is not NORMAL" stage. Sometimes you just gotta get sick and tired of being sick and tired, eh?

Here's to finding out what's up on the first try!

    1. The problem started back in December, and I kept hoping I'd get better. But as you say, I got sick and tired of being sick and tired. I do hope they can give me some kind of answer. I'm concerned that it may be bad news, but at least I will know what's going on.
